What is Responsible Beauty Initiative? Lays July 26, 2018 15:08 Updated The Responsible Beauty Initiative (RBI) is an industry initiative focused on sustainable procurement. It was founded in 2017 to improve sustainability throughout the entire beauty supply chain, through sharing best practices and processes, driving a common understanding across the industry, and to use and share common tools, creating efficiencies. The current members are: EcoVadis is RBI’s official partner to evaluate the Corporate Social Responsibility practices of their supplier network. Through this joint effort, members will contribute to a more responsible beauty industry supply chain. If your company has received a request to be evaluated by EcoVadis or to share its existing and valid results with RBI, it is a supplier of at least one of the members of this sector initiative. By accepting RBI’s request, your company agrees to share results with all the current and future members.
