What is Responsible Beauty Initiative? Boris Abramovic August 15, 2019 03:28 Updated The Responsible Beauty Initiative (RBI) is a sector initiative focused on sustainable procurement. It was founded in 2017 to improve sustainability across the entire beauty supply chain by sharing best practices and processes, driving a common understanding across the industry, and to enhance efficiency. The current members are: EcoVadis is RBI’s official partner to assess the CSR practices of their supplier network. Through this joint effort, members will contribute to a more responsible beauty industry supply chain. If your company has received a request to be assessed by EcoVadis or to share your existing and valid EcoVadis Scorecard with a RBI member, you are considered a trading partner for at least one of the members of this sector initiative. By accepting RBI’s request, your company agrees to share your EcoVadis Rating with all current and future RBI members.
