The PROGRESS initiative is a group of leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies which aims to positively impact people’s lives through combined leadership of robust responsible sourcing practices. The initiative started in 2016 with several EcoVadis customers who met in the AIM-Progress not-for-profit organization focusing on improving Human Rights in their supply chains.
The ten companies below share their supplier sustainability assessments on the EcoVadis platform and meet quarterly to discuss the sector view insights, share best practices and plan supplier capacity-building activities organized by EcoVadis as their coordination office. The initial focus was on human rights topics covered by their membership in AIM-Progress. Thanks to the sector view insights provided by EcoVadis and in the context of growing climate change concerns, the group is now expanding its focus areas and opening an environmental working group dedicated to supply chain decarbonization and water management.
The ten members have a steep growth curve of rated suppliers, and more than 10,000 of their rated suppliers already share their EcoVadis scorecards with the current and future Progress members. 77% of these rated companies have improved their score since their first EcoVadis assessment. The PROGRESS Initiative members' supplier base has truly global coverage.
EcoVadis and the external AIM-Progress organization enjoy collaboration and host members’ meetings jointly if the topics are relevant for both sides and add value to the member companies. To learn more about AIM-Progress, please visit www.aim-progress.com.
