A key attribute of each assessment is the “scope”, which defines the legal entity whose sustainability management system is being assessed. The assessment scope is set at time of request, and may be set at group level (e.g. global headquarters, parent company, holding company) or subsidiary level (e.g. regional operating company, business unit, country specific entity, manufacturing site).
If the requested scope matches exactly to your company entity (group or subsidiary), and you have been assessed in the last twelve (12) months, you will receive a request to share your existing scorecard. If the scorecard has expired, you will receive a request to have the entity reassessed.
If the requested scope does not match that of your existing assessment, you will need to register the requested entity and complete a new assessment for it. In case you wish to share an existing scorecard for a different scope, check with the requesting company first before asking EcoVadis team for any modification.
