Since the purchase for a subscription is performed online, we refer to our Terms & Conditions as a contract.
You are asked to accept our Terms & Conditions in one of the following scenarios:
Case 1: When completing the registration form;
Case 2: When bypassing the registration stage, you will be asked to accept the Terms & Conditions when signing up and logging in to the platform for the first time. Your acceptance is intended as a valid virtual signature.
The information about who accepted the T&Cs is displayed on the Company Profile page in the user menu at the top right. To view it:
- Go to www.ecovadis-survey.com/app/.
- Log in using your username (your email address) and password.
- Open the user menu in the top right corner of the page. Go to Company Profile to view your company information. The information about the contact who accepted the EcoVadis Terms & Conditions on behalf of your company can be found at the bottom of the page.
Can we request an NDA?
We have a policy of not entering into individual agreements, including NDAs, with rated companies. Instead, all rated companies are required to agree to our standard Terms and Conditions (T&Cs), which are identical for everyone. These T&Cs have been designed to simplify the management of contractual relationships with your company and to lower the workload and expenses of collaborating on our platform. This is a common practice in the SaaS model.
When you upload information to our platform, it will only be used to provide our services. We will not share your information with any other company unless you choose to share it with them through the platform. Learn more about sharing your sustainability profile.
Please keep in mind that if you do decide to share your information, we cannot be held responsible for any breach of third-party confidentiality. However, we assure you that our agreement with requesting companies ensures that all documents handled through our solution are kept confidential. We also recommend labelling your documents based on their level of confidentiality for added security.
Remember that most of the regulations outlined in our Terms and Conditions for rated companies pertain to the functionality of the EcoVadis solution and the corresponding rights and responsibilities of both parties involved.
Our T&Cs for rated companies already include confidentiality clauses, so there's no need for another document to regulate parties' rights and obligations. Introducing such a document could modify the T&Cs and compromise this objective, as our goal is to treat all suppliers fairly and equally to ensure the integrity of our assessment results.
