My company is small. Which supporting documents can I provide? Boris Abramovic September 24, 2018 12:03 Updated The documents you provide are very important for the analysis of your company's CSR performance. We understand that small companies may not have formal policies to demonstrate their CSR practices. In this case, we accept any documents that highlight your engagement to these 4 themes of sustainable development: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Here are some examples of documents that can be provided (for illustration only): General: action plans for your future CSR projects, management commitment to CSR etc.; Environment: copies of internal emails regarding energy/water consumption awareness; documentation detailing the existence of waste sorting/recycling procedures; invoices for purchases of PV panels / light motion detectors / innovative equipment etc.; Labor & Human Rights: proof of existence of a complementary or subsidised health insurance; employee performance assessment form; training for employees etc.; Ethics: copies of internal memos or emails regarding employee awareness programs about corruption/anti-competitive practices etc.; Sustainable Procurement: invoices for goods purchased with an eco-label (e.g. recycled ink cartridges) etc. For more information, download the EcoVadis Document Guide, also available in Japanese.
