What is the request to provide additional information for the EcoVadis assessment (checkup process)?
To increase transparency in the analysis process, help rated companies better understand which questionnaire declarations could not be credited, and enhance collaboration between rated companies and EcoVadis, we have introduced a checkup process during expert analysis that offers an opportunity for you to update submitted documents for final verification by the analyst team before we publish your scorecard. Currently, the checkup process is restricted to clearly identified circumstances.
How does it work?
After an initial review of the submitted documents, the questionnaire is reopened* for you to provide additional information on questions where our expert analysts could not match specific declarations with attached evidence.
When a checkup has been triggered, you will receive an email titled “Opportunity to Provide Additional Information for Your EcoVadis Assessment,” which includes a link to your questionnaire listing the specific options waiting for additional information. Upon clicking “Go to questionnaire,” you will have the option to provide additional information for those questions by attaching documents already uploaded in your Document library or by uploading and attaching up to 10 new documents. However, you will not be able to change your initial answers provided in the questionnaire.
To provide additional information, follow these steps:
- Log in to your questionnaire from the notification email titled “Opportunity to Provide Additional Information for Your EcoVadis Assessment” - only the questions that require additional information will be editable;
- Attach to those questions documents already uploaded in your Document Library or upload and attach up to 10 new documents;
- Once you have finished, click “Submit questionnaire”.
In order to abide by the deadlines related to the scorecard delivery, a strict limit of four (4) business days is provided for you to resubmit your questionnaire. If you are unable to respond within the deadline, our analyst team will proceed with the assessment based only on the information previously provided. If required, you may ask for a deadline extension by replying to the notification email. If you do not have additional information to provide, please go to your questionnaire and resubmit it without making further changes.
