Several resources and help channels are there to help you better understand the questions and options and provide the relevant supporting documents in the answering process. This article lists each of the available resources and help channels we have and how they may help you.
- EcoVadis Document Guide: This guide explains everything you need to know about supporting documentation. You will be guided through the importance of the assessment scope, how to select the relevant supporting documentation for the assessment, as well as finding details about our requirements for the provided documents and how to attach documents to your questionnaire. You’ll also be able to find information on how we analyze information from different assessment levels, such as your subsidiaries, sites and your parent companies(if applicable).
- EcoVadis Ratings Methodology Overview and Principles: This will provide you with an overview of the EcoVadis assessment process and methodology. We touch upon topics such as ‘what makes a good sustainability management system’ and describe the steps we take when conducting the analysis. There is also information on the themes and criteria that we cover in the assessment and the sustainability management indicators used to assess them. You will also learn how we customize the assessment framework for each company’s activity, size and location of the company’s operations.
- EcoVadis Ratings Scoring Principles: You’ll learn more about how we score the information under each management indicator. There is also information on the Strengths and Improvement Areas that will appear on your Scorecard once the assessment is completed. This information will be useful to help you better understand your results and navigate the improvement path.

If you don't understand the question or option itself, don't know what we mean by a certain term or concept, or you don't know what kind of supporting documentation you can provide for that question/option, you can refer to the Help Content under each question and option.
