Filing a scorecard inquiry

If you have specific questions about your published scorecard that the platform and Help Center don't answer, you can file a scorecard inquiry. This article explains what a scorecard inquiry covers and how to submit one.

In this article:

What a scorecard inquiry is

A scorecard inquiry is a focused conversation about specific parts of your published scorecard — it is not a full review of your scorecard and does not change your score. To protect the consistency of our methodology, scores are not adjusted based on an inquiry.

Before you submit an inquiry

Many common questions are already answered in existing resources, so it's worth checking these first:

  • The Score Details feature on your scorecard, which compares your results against the standard scoring chart;
  • The EcoVadis Ratings Methodology Overview and Scoring Principles guides available from Useful Resources;
  • Related Help Center articles about your scorecard and assessment process.

How to submit a scorecard inquiry

  • Prepare your specific questions about your scorecard — you can submit up to 15 questions per inquiry;
  • Contact your Account Executive or EcoVadis Customer Care with your questions;
  • Our team reviews your questions and answers what they can directly. Anything requiring closer analysis is forwarded to our analyst team for review;
  • Once you receive a reply, you can ask up to 5 follow-up questions.

Important: We cannot commit to a specific response time, since inquiries need in-depth research and sometimes involve more than one internal team. If your case is urgent, please let your Account Executive or Customer Care contact know.
