For subscribing suppliers, Worker Voice Survey and Worker Voice Connect insights are integrated into the EcoVadis Ratings assessment to provide visibility into how effectively labor practices are implemented on site, thereby complementing company-provided documentation.
Worker Voice Survey
“Confirmed by Worker Voice Survey” Tag on scorecard strengths: When workers responding to the Worker Voice Survey confirm the implementation of specific measures on-site, the Ratings scorecard displays a “Confirmed by Worker Voice Survey” tag next to the relevant Strength. This tag provides visibility on worker verification of implementation of key actions and is informational only; it does not affect the score.
For Group assessments, the confirmation tag is displayed next to a Strength only when all Worker Voice Survey-participating sites confirm the action. The tag is not displayed if any Worker Voice-participating site meets the threshold to reject the action’s implementation.
“Third-party Worker Voice Survey” Action: The Worker Voice Survey can be used as valid evidence for the “Third-party worker voice survey” measure under the Working Conditions criterion.
Worker Voice Connect
A company’s Worker Voice Connect performance is reflected on its Ratings scorecard through informational (unscored) Strengths or Improvement Areas on the quality of grievance mechanism implementation:
The Strength “Company remediates a majority of workers’ grievances” is shown when data indicates that grievances are effectively addressed.
The Improvement Area “At least one site with no grievance reports, implying implementation issues or worker disincentives” is shown when data indicates gaps in the implementation of grievance mechanisms.
For Group assessments, a Strength is assigned only when all participating sites meet the requirements, while an Improvement Area is assigned when at least one Medium- or Large-size participating site has an Improvement Area activated.
No information about the content of grievances is displayed on the scorecard.
